YEB BOOTCAMP – AN EXPERIENCE FOR PICT Model School Learners

15 students of PICT Model School from Grade 9 and 11 attended the The YEB Bootcamp, conducted by BITS Pilani. The Bootcamp introduced young learners to entrepreneurship, encouraging them to become job creators. Students initially expected traditional lectures but experienced an engaging and immersive program.

The first day covered entrepreneurship fundamentals, led by Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao. Students explored DeepTech, engineering, and the importance of networking. Day two emphasized on product development, problem analysis, and financial concepts, highlighted by a lecture from Sir Jainul Abedin, one of the youngest space-tech CEOs working with ISRO.

Subsequent days focused on engineering excellence, sustainability, IoT, biotechnology, and hands-on learning. A key activity involved a startup simulation game, fostering business understanding.

Out of 144 participants, only six students were given an award for best maintenance journal and notes out which 3 students, Anvi Joshi (9 Garnet), Naitik Sarnot (9 Garnet) and Aayushi Mantri (9 Sapphire) were from PICT Model School.

Notably, students, Debashmee Mondal (9 Sapphire) and Jiya Khandelwal (9 Garnet) secured an internship with Khageshvara Aviation Technology. PICT Model School is proud of its students’ achievements.
